Harina Keur geb. 1989

The mare Harina forms the basis for dressage horse breeding at Stal van Nispen. Her sire Ulft (Le Mexico x Pericles xx) enjoys world fame as sire of the highly celebrated black dressage stallion Olympic Ferro. Under Coby van Baalen Ferro earned, amongst other achievements, a sixth place at the Rome WC and a silver medal for the Dutch team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. In addition, Ulft was also responsible for the successful Grand Prix dressage horses Gullit, Habibi, Baltimore and Joy. Dam Sarina has earned the coveted ‘prestatie’ predicate and, like the dressage horse supplier Uniform, descends from the thoroughbred stallion Wahtamin xx. Uniform has become especially famous as sire of the Grand Prix dressage horses Metallic, Harald, Congo and Chapelle. Harina’s dam’s line goes back via the stallions Ulex and Wachtmeester to the mare Ibertine (Caesar). Also the famous Gelders stallion Siegfried (L’Invasion) is a son of Ibertine. This family also produced the international showjumping horse Santa Douglas (Silvano) under Eric van der Vleuten and the BWP-licensed stallion Moriaan de Darmen (Lys de Darmen).
